Patrick has been a true creative from childhood.
While growing up in Georgia, Patrick was a natural-born musician, performer, and artist. After years of classical education in the arts, he pursued jazz, pop, and improvisational forms. Pursuing that passion, Patrick went on to earn degrees in Jazz Studies (piano) from Valdosta State University and University of Oregon. He went on to perform in multiple tours throughout the U.S. & Europe in large and small bands ranging from big bands to avant-garde new music ensembles to pop groups and bar bands, and everywhere in between. Patrick spent a number of years as a studio musician and musical theatre director in the Southeast.
After spending years as a gigging & touring musician, he transitioned into ministry and chaplaincy. Although the medium was different, the underlying passion was the same - improvising difficult conversations, creating new ideas and relationships, & impacting people around him. This ultimately led to Patrick spending time in the business world as a consultant focused mostly on sales and creative strategy. He still serves businesses as a consultant on a limited basis.
Now, Patrick is committed to expressing creativity in multiple forms - portrait & street photography, creative consulting, and music performance and education. And that is what the WoJo Creative Studio provides - a studio to provide creative expression for individuals & businesses.
Over the years, the mediums have shifted, but the thrust has always been the same - to capture a moment, an emotion, an event, a memory; to see possibility in everyone; to be present in the moment; to embrace humanity; and to create.
If you want something beyond the typical photography experience - a truly creative event - then WoJo Creative is here to support you. Just get in touch & let's chat about your vision.
